Paul McCartney helped a couple get engaged during the second encore of his weekend concert in Albany, New York. Before a crowd of 13,000 at the city's Times Union Center, Macca invited John Dann and Claudia Rodgers up on stage where Dann proposed.
Before popping the question, Dann jumped on the mic to sing a verse of the Beatles' classic "When I'm Sixty-Four."
"Here I am - a nobody - and a musical legend was accompanying me," Dann later told the Democrat & Chronicle. "It was a moment I'll never forget."
Dann and Rodgers were in the front row for the show, holding signs that said "I have the ring" (Dann) and "He won't marry me til he meets you" (Rodgers).
"It was so wild that I didn't even have a chance to get nervous," Dann said after the memorable evening.
