Black Sabbath And ELO Included On Album Created By Birmingham Tourist Board

Black Sabbath and ELO are featured on an album playlist created by the Birmingham tourist board in celebration of the diverse acts to hail from the area.

The 21 track list was culled from suggestions made via Twitter and then curated by a panel of local musicians.

"The wait is over," wrote Visit Birmingham, "after hundreds of nominations, scores of Twitter selfies and lively online debate, our panel has chosen the 21 tracks that they feel epitomise the diverse and rich range of music from the West Midlands, past and present."

Others to feature on the mix include the Spencer Davis Group ("Gimme Some Lovin"), Fine Young Cannibals ("I'm Not the Man I Used to Be"), Musical Youth ("Pass the Dutchie"), the Specials ("Gangsters") and UB40 ("One in Ten").
