Slash is rumored to guest star in Anastasia, a proposed sequel to AMC's hit drama Breaking Bad, but he has no intention of confirming the rumor.
The question came after a man named Lawrence Shepherd started a Kickstarter campaign to fund "Anastasia," which picks up were "Breaking Bad" leaves off, and stars Val Kilmer and the former Guns N' Roses guitarist.
"God forbid Sony and Vince Gilligan say no, we're not gonna sit in the corner and suck our own thumbs," Shepherd said regarding the obvious issue of copyright surrounding his scheme.
"Slash will stay in the 'Slash' character, which will enable another writing venue as he will always be undercover. He is Kilmer's partner . . . Who doesn't want to see Slash with a Glock sticking out from under that jacket? Come on!" he added.
NME contacted Slash about the rumor, but the guitarist refused to respond. Shepherd, meanwhile, is nowhere near getting the $500,000 he's asking for in his Kickstarter campaign.
