Queen Taps William Orbit To Produce New Album

William Orbit (Blur, Madonna, Britney Spears) says he's producing the new Queen album featuring unheard vocal tracks from the late Freddy Mercury.

"Am definitely working with QUEEN. Amazing songs. That's all I'm saying for now. Watch this space," Orbit wrote on Twitter.

Guitarist Brian May previously revealed that he's working on the LP with drummer Roger Taylor. It will likely be called Queen Forever, he adds, and be out sometime before Christmas.

The LP is rumored to feature an unreleased collaboration between Mercury and Michael Jackson from 1983. The pair worked together on three demos during the 1982 Thriller session - none of which were finished.

"Victory" and "State of Shock" were however re-recorded with Mick Jagger for a 1984 Jacksons album, while "There Must Be More to Life Than This" was redone by Mercury on his 1985 solo LP Mr. Bad Guy.
