Ace Frehley Plays 'New York Groove' With The Roots

Former KISS guitarist appeared on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon to play his 1978 tune "New York Groove." Frehley was assisted by Fallon's house band, the Roots, on the jam.

Ace's upcoming solo LP, Space Invader, hits August 19. He'll celebrate the release with a in-store appearance and signing at the Best Buy in Union Square, New York City on Tuesday, August 19 at 6 PM EST.

"I'm really excited about this record, because everybody that's heard the tracks just says they think some of the tracks are even better than [Frehley's 2009 LP] Anomaly, and even showing another side of me," Ace told Rolling Stone of the upcoming album.

Space Invader features 11 original songs plus a cover of the Steve Miller Band classic, "The Joker."
